The Cintiq Pro starts out at 1,699, and the MobileStudio Pro starts at a staggering 2,599. Its unbelievable how it works as promised. Wacom tablets might offer some great features, but it’ll cost you. Ive just bought it and tested it with my iPad Pro + Apple Pencil and its AWESOME. While drawing on an iPad, you can watch your imagination take form on the iPad’s screen. While that’s formidable, it’s Apple offers a 120Hz refresh rate with Display P3 and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. That much space affords creative professionals the luxury of working in relatively greater detail. Compared with some of the pro tablets like the Cintiq 16-inch or the 32-inch Cintiq Pro, the screen size may feel somewhat lacking. It seems like the majority of artists prefer the Surface Pro 3. So its not just the product, but what can be done with it. That said, the cintiq, really the digitizer and pen, do offer additional features such as rotate, programmable buttons, etc. The larger the screen estate, the more room for creativity. I assumed that the Cintiq would be the choice of professional photographers, retouchers, and animators, but I was wrong.
